iPRO and St. Helens R.L.F.C Donate Healthy Hydration To NHS Staff

Club Hydration Partner iPRO have made a kind donation of their world renowned Healthy Hydration drink to key workers on the front-line at St.Helens Whiston Hospital.

Saints joined up with iPRO back in August 2019 which saw them become our ‘Official Hydration Partner’ until the end of the 2021 season.

And given the COVID-19 pandemic, iPRO are doing their bit for the community at this difficult time, kindly donating hydration drinks to Whiston Hospital.

Club legend Tommy Martyn was on hand to deliver the bottles on Monday morning to key workers on the front line of the hospital, many of whom are dehydrated due to hours wearing protective clothing as Lucy Darrall, Commercial Manager at iPRO explains:

“We have heard that a lot of staff who are wearing PPE are suffering in the warmer weather and becoming dehydrated. iPRO’s healthy hydration drinks contain electrolytes and vitamins to aid hydration and recovery so we hope that this product donation will help staff at St. Helens Whiston Hospital.

“It is a privilege to have a partner like St. Helens R.L.F.C who are just as keen to help the local community and key workers as we are, and we look forward to continuing our relationship with the club when play resumes.”

St.Helens R.F.C General Manager, Dave Hutchinson said: “Given the hydration benefits of iPRO's drinks, an initiative to help our local nurses and doctors made complete sense. We have many key workers within our Women's team at the Club so we know all too well what a great job key workers across the country are doing.

“We are more than willing to do what we can to help in our local community and so hopefully this kind donation by iPRO will make a difference at this difficult time."

Everyone at St.Helens R.F.C is grateful to our NHS and key front-line workers at this difficult time.
