iPRO & parkrun collaborate at National Running Show South!

Last weekend, iPRO were thrilled to return to the National Running Show South as the Official Hydration Partner of the event. Thousands of runners of all ages and abilities packed into Farnborough’s International Exhibition Centre, keen to listen to inspirational speakers, try the latest cutting-edge technology, and sample many delicious nutritional products.

For the first time ever, parkrun attended the National Running Show, joining iPRO on their stand. iPRO were excited to share the stand with their partners parkrun, who received great feedback when promoting their full Apricot clothing range to the running community.

Shaun Scalon, Head of Retail at parkrun, said:

‘I have just returned from parkrun's first appearance at the National Running Show and would like to thank iPRO for all their help and assistance in ensuring our success at the event. iPRO are an incredibly supportive partner for parkrun and I look forward to working with them again in the future.’

In true iPRO fashion, there were three giant inflatable bottles dotted around Farnborough’s International Exhibition Centre, guiding the running community to their nearest rehydration station. iPRO were sampling their new iPRO Hydrate bottle, featuring the parkrun logo, which caught the attention of many passing visitors. With treadmills and running challenges common around the arena, many were thankful for the opportunity to rehydrate with iPRO’s delicious drinks.

iPRO’s Partnerships Coordinator, Lewis White, commented:

‘The National Running Show never disappoints. It was a pleasure to exhibit at NRS for the third time, made even better by the presence of our partners, parkrun. We loved meeting and hydrating runners from all over the country – everyone is always so friendly which created a great atmosphere all weekend. I’d certainly recommend attending this show to runners, or other businesses looking to reach the running community.’

Like the running community, the iPRO team loved listening to the inspirational speakers who attended the show this year. One of many memorable moments was when Mo Farah spoke about how the ‘Mobot’ came about. Just moments later, Mo had hundreds of runners all doing the Mobot, quite a picture!
