The stellar cast-list of players set to benefit from the partnership during Star Sixes includes Steven Gerrard, Rivaldo, Michael Ballack, Carles Puyol, Alessandro Del Piero, Robert Pires, Deco and Jay-Jay Okocha.
Fast becoming the leading supplier of isotonic sports drinks to the world of sport, iPro Sport is the Preferred Sports Drink of the Football Association of Ireland, football teams across the Championship, League One and League Two, as well as international teams within rugby, cricket, netball, basketball, cycling and running associations.

Commenting on the fast-growing success of iPro Sport in all sporting arenas and the role the product plays in helping athletes maintain optimum levels of hydration to aid peak performance, Sophie Christy, Commercial Director of iPro Sport said:
“Hydration underpins everything we do and we are absolutely delighted to be chosen as the Preferred Hydration Drink of the inaugural Star Sixes international football competition. This partnership illustrates our ongoing support to sport and specifically our long-term commitment to football worldwide. We look forward to collaborating with Pitch International and Football Champions Tour at the Star Sixes event next week, and keep an eye out for competitions to win tickets on our social media channels.”
iPro Sport is also the Official Time Out Partner of Star Sixes. The 12 nations competing – England, Brazil, Germany, Spain, Italy, France, Mexico, Nigeria, Portugal, Scotland, China and Denmark – can each call a one-minute ‘time out’ during the group stages, when games will last for 20 minutes. In the knockout stages, matches will be 15 minutes each way, with a short break.
Organised by Pitch International (London), in partnership with Football Champions Tour, a leading sports management agency, Star Sixes will reunite the world’s greatest players in their national team colours to renew old rivalries.
Each nation competing at Star Sixes, which will be screened live by Sky Sports, will boast a ten-man squad.
The tournament will feature a group phase followed by knockout stages – including penalty shootouts – culminating in the Star Sixes Final, when the trophy will be at stake.
