iPRO Team Up with QPR FC and Defender, Grant Hall, to Donate Healthy Hydration Drinks to NHS Staff

This week iPRO collaborated with official partners, Queens Park Rangers Football Club and club player, Grant Hall, to donate over 1200 bottles of iPRO’s Wellness Drinks to staff at Hammersmith Hospital.

The donation was made during Mental Health Awareness Week supporting the national campaign theme of ‘Kindness’ and as an advocate for Mental Health Awareness, QPR Defender Grant Hall was only too pleased to be involved in the donation.

iPRO are extremely passionate about promoting physical and mental wellbeing and as such the donation of drinks was well received by staff, boosting their spirits between shifts at Hammersmith Hospital.

Alongside iPRO’s celebrity friends, retail partners and world-renowned sporting partners, the drinks company have been able to provide NHS hospitals, emergency services, care homes, food banks and charities with over 30,000 bottles of iPRO Hydrate and iPRO Water to date.

QPR FC Commercial Director, Euan Inglis commented:

“A number of our partners have been offering their services and support to front line services. The donation of product by our Official Hydration Partner, iPRO to NHS trust charity (Imperial NHS Charity) is hugely generous and will be greatly appreciated during these unprecedented times and makes us very proud to be associated to iPRO.”

iPRO Commercial Manager, Lucy Darrall, added:

“We have been made aware that NHS staff are becoming dehydrated due to wearing full body PPE in the warmer weather, so our healthy hydration drinks are a great way to protect the health of our NHS Heroes on the frontline.

“It’s great to hear about the work that Imperial Health Charity are doing to protect their staff’s wellbeing including the wobble rooms and additional counselling, and we are proud to be supporting their efforts as we collaborate to help manage the mental health and wellbeing of NHS staff.”

Ian Lush, Chief Executive of Imperial Health Charity, said:

“Our NHS colleagues have shown extraordinary dedication and commitment in responding to Covid-19 and I’m very proud that we’ve been able to work with businesses, community organisations and many other partners to provide additional wellbeing support for staff during this extremely challenging time. As well as distributing the many generous donations of food, drink and other items we’ve received from members of the public, we’ve also opened pop-up shops running seven days a week to provide staff with basic essentials completely free of charge. To further support staff wellbeing, we’ve also helped to improve rest areas for hospital workers to use during their shift and funded additional counselling support for our NHS colleagues. We’re extremely grateful for this generous donation from iPRO which I’m sure will be very warmly received by staff.”
