Championship Club Barnsley FC Announce iPRO as Preferred Hydration Drinks Partner Until 2022
Barnsley Football Club is delighted to announce a partnership with industry-leading healthy hydration drinks company, iPRO Hydrate. The agreement will see iPRO supply low sugar hydration drinks to the men’s first team for the next two years.
iPRO Hydrate is fast becoming the leading supplier of healthy hydration drinks to sport, health, fitness and wellbeing communities worldwide. The range of products are a natural-low-sugar hydration drink with added vitamins, free from all artificial chemicals, Halal certified and suitable for vegetarians/vegans as iPRO demands from its manufacturers high-quality, plant-based ingredients and flavours from nature.
iPRO Hydrate’s healthy wellbeing drinks will help optimise performance of Barnsley FC players during training and in Sky Bet Championship fixtures, whilst also playing a vital role in recovery by delivering added vitamins and electrolytes essential in the rehydration process.
Luke Dopson, Barnsley FC’s Head of Sport Science, said: “We are delighted to partner with iPRO, as keeping a player hydrated is of the upmost importance for both performance and regeneration. Working with a market-leading company guarantees that our squad will be refuelling responsibly.”
Sustainability is a long-term focus at Oakwell and is a vision shared by both the Club and iPRO. Notably, all iPRO product packaging is 100% recyclable, as the Company understands how sustainable packaging plays an integral role in mitigating the impact on the environment.
iPRO continue to drive change by incorporating recycled materials into their packaging, with ambitions for all associated packaging to be produced using 75% recycled materials in 2021.
iPRO Commercial Manager, Lucy Darrall, said: “iPRO are proud to be selected as the Hydration Drinks Partner of Barnsley FC who are passionate about providing their players with high quality healthy hydration. We are looking forward to supporting the Club over the next two years and wish the club the best of luck this season and beyond!”
