iPRO Ambassador Holly Archer Set to Attend National Running Show - South 2021

iPRO Ambassador Holly Archer will be attending the National Running Show - South as a guest speaker on Saturday 11th September, sharing the highs and lows of her competitive running journey.

Cambridge & Coleridge Athletic Club athlete Holly Archer has been an avid runner since the age of 12. Her exceptional talent led her to become the 1500m Indoor Silver medallist in Torun, Poland. However, her journey to recent success has been entirely self-funded by managing a full-time job alongside her training. After her win at Torun, she pledged to compete for qualification at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, only to heartbreakingly miss qualifying by the slim margin of just .2 seconds. Holly now has her sights firmly fixed on Team England qualification for the Birmingham Commonwealth Games in 2022, with iPRO supporting her for the foreseeable future.

The National Running Show - South, which is hosted annually in Farnborough, bringing together the running community from across the UK, will welcome 150 exhibitors and over 24,000 visitors on the 11th and 12th of September. Holly is scheduled to speak on Saturday at 14:00, sharing the real ups and downs of her journey, from the early years of competing with the dream of representing Team GB, to reaching her potential with the support of family, friends, and her sponsors, with iPRO at the forefront of this ongoing support.

Commenting on her debut at this year’s National Running Show - South, Holly said:

“I am grateful to iPRO for this opportunity. It’s a privilege to be sharing my journey at the National Running Show - South this Saturday, which I’m really excited to get involved with. 2021 has exposed me to the world of elite running, and I’ll be discussing my own challenges I overcame to get here, and the perceptions needed if you want to make it to the top.”

iPRO Global Commercial Director, Sophie Christy, also commented:

“The iPRO team are thrilled to see Holly be given the opportunity to share her journey at such an influential event. Holly’s determination and resilience is admirable to many, and we believe at least one person will walk away that day feeling inspired by her words and motivated to pursue their dream and reach their true potential.”
